About me
Born and raised on the east coast of the U.S. My career (and curiosity) has allowed me to call Richmond, Brooklyn, Austin and Los Angeles home. Now-a-days, I’m based in Alexandria, Virginia, which allows me to be near my immediate family. I come from a tightly knit extended family, and love spending time with them every summer.
My hobbies include: reading, HIIT work-outs, quilting, sculling and generally hanging out at bars/restaurants with friends. An ideal evening is spent playing a board/card game with friends on my patio, while drinking local beers.
I love a day spent wandering around town. That may mean going to museums in DC, checking out shops in cute neighborhoods or going to events around town.
I love to travel. I know that everyone says that, but I really make it a point to plan trips regularly. I’m always planning financially for travel, and finding pockets of time to disappear. I’ve been working remotely since the pandemic and it has allowed me to extend trips. This year I spent a month in Mexico City, and another month in the Adirondacks of New York. I’ll be spending 2 - 3 weeks in Europe this fall.
